2011

2011 will this be a good year? Oh how I wish I could predict what 2011 will bring. I am sure we all wish for that little (or big) crystal ball that we can see into and know what decisions to make and what mistakes to avoid this coming year.
Long gone is the stigma that losing a home and defaulting on a loan is necessarily a bad thing. Homeowners who owe much more than their home is worth will more easily decide to walk away and give it up rather than fighting and pleading with uncooperative loan companies. Good move or bad I cannot say, although that I can say is that it is more common than rare these days.
Even though some more homes will go back to the banks this year and many more people may give their homes up to short sales a lot of people especially those in semi-stable to stable positions will hold onto what they have with a slightly higher appreciation.
Home sales overall decreased 10% over 2010 while rental home amounts increased by 12%.
So no crystal ball, no psychic intuition or any insight into the future of the real estate market here. All I can guarantee is continuous good service, knowledge of the market at hand a good marketing plan and loyalty to my customer.
If you are looking for current market conditions, past trends, looking to buy or sell, have real estate related questions, looking for a good vendor to perform a service on your existing home, give me a call. Although I can't predict the future of the real estate market,(no one can) believe me if I could I would have made some better choices, what I can guarantee is 100% of my commitment to you and great customer service with the smoothest home buying or selling experience that I can give.
